The latest version of ciSUITE: has been optimised to help businesses in getting online and extending their back-office procedures into the online arena - to interact with their customers and other systems.

For this reason, ciSUITE: v2 is the perfect management tool for portals, intranets, and online business applications, as well as more "basic" CMS websites.

New features of the latest version of ciSUITE: include:

• Version Control: Allowing rolling back of any page, news item, or cart product to a previous version instantly (including uploaded images etc).
  
  
• Editorial Control: If desired, only managers can release changes made to a page, news item, or cart product. Lower-level employees can make changes, then request (via generated email) their manager to review and release.
  
  
• Advanced Grouping Technology (ciGROUPS:): Allowing for open-ended administration of features such as:
• Password-controlled content
• Multi-domain re-usable content (e.g. a single page can be used on one/any/all pages and re-formatted by the engine on-the-fly)
  
  
• Our plugins are even smarter, meaning that we can integrate with online booking systems and payment gateways, PDF creation software (for on-the-fly document building), and other third-party/custom modules.
  
  
• Intelligent "Include" functionality (similar to plugins) now means that we can use the same menu interface (for example) for all pages and make rapid development changes which are instantly deployed site-wide.
  
  
• We have developed a rapid-deployment API which is now used internally to develop new custom functionality when necessary (e.g. ciGROUPS: was built using this API).
  
  
• HTML asset block editing now includes a "Word stripper" function to clean up problematic text formatting from copy/pasted Word documents.
