ciSUITE: and BSA - Building Online Training

Designed to enhance the existing process of training staff within Queensland's Building Services Authority (BSA), this solution leverages a new ciSUITE: module known as "ciSTREAMFLOW:"). With the new system in place, BSA have the ability to create a virtually unlimited number of training courses and permutations of training content.

As this system is a private training application, we obviously can't go into too much detail ... but suffice it to say the technology behind this application is a completely new direction for ciSUITE: and Content Management in general.

The ciSTREAMFLOW: module, along with its ciSTREAMFLOW REPORTING: companion module are a complete departure from "traditional" content management.

These new modules allow for the combination and re-combination of any page and survey content taken from the standard ciSUITE: environment to create a theoretically unlimited number of combinations of that content ... effectively allowing the same content to be re-shaped into a variety of training courses, each of which can have their own content hierarchy and assessment criteria (including unique or shared pass/fail marks).

... and using the ciSTREAMFLOW: module is as easy as it possibly can be, with Web 2.0 drag-and-drop functionality making for a fast, simple administration user experience.

Users can also be managed and enrolled into any course as an individual or as part of a group of other similar users.

Administration users can review progress of users through each training course, including pass/fail attempts and time spent.
